Summit Academy is a participating school in the WPCP.
The application period for the statewide Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) will be open
February 1, 2024 - April 18, 2024.
If you hope to apply through the WPCP, please do so here.
IS YOUR FAMILY ELIGIBLE FOR THE WPCP?
For the 2024-2025 school year, the family income of a student new to a choice program must be at or below the amount listed in the table below of the program the student is applying for.
All students must apply each year. Apply at dpi.wi.gov/choice.
If a student is continuing in any of the choice programs or was on the waiting list for the same Choice program in the prior year, he or she does not need to meet the income limits.
Family income includes the income of the student’s parent(s)/legal guardian(s) that reside in the same household as the student applicant.
If the student’s parents/legal guardians that reside in the same household are married, their income is reduced by $7,000 when determining income eligibility for the program as illustrated in the table below.
Family size includes parents/legal guardians and their children by birth, marriage or adoption that reside in the same household as the student applicant.
The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program awards vouchers (to families who qualify) for 100% of the tuition costs at the WPCP school of the recipient’s choice.
A voucher covers 100% of your tuition.
If a student is granted a voucher, they will retain that voucher through 12th grade (must re-apply each year), regardless of the family’s financial situation.
If your family meets the eligibility requirements, it is important that you apply to this program during the open application window.
